Posted project update #4Three. More. Days!
Post CommentGood morning, everyone! Three more days! Exciting news!
Well, we have only a few more days to wrap up this kickstarter. It's been an amazing process and we've gotten pretty close. The exciting news is that we have a chance to close the gap if we can get to $4000. If we can raise just over $1000 in the next 3 days, we have an offer to match that $1000 and help us achieve our kickstarter goal!
We have lots of surprise goodies coming. The vinyl is being pumped out the door, the musicians are prepping amazing sets, projector lenses are being polished, code being finalized, sculptures being built and much, much more.
This is going to be a completely community-driven event: participatory and interactive, and completely funded by you. This is our way of appropriating public space, of making a statement about how we can use this space that belongs to all of us to create magic and share in something special. For me, this festival is what urbanism is all about, a chance to bring people together to share experiences and enjoy our urban jungle as active architects of moments.
In almost all ways, this festival is about you and what you bring to it. Bring a picnic or portable project you've built, or just bring yourself, your friends or your family. This isn't going to fully take life until we see you there.
So, just a reminder, we can reach the full kickstarter amount just by getting to $4000. If you know of people who were planning to donate, this would be the time. To those of you who have donated and those who upped your contribution, we can't thank you enough.
Thanks, everyone!
