we're still waiting on the records from Rainbo, they have told me they should be shipping to us in a few days, We will be getting them out to you as soon as we get them in.
Also in case you don't follow us on Facebook we've announced a tour in conjunction with these releases - SKALAPALOOZA 2012 - a two weekend tour featuring The Pietasters, Pilfers, and an acoustic set from Spring Heeled Jack... as well as additional performances from some of the best young ska bands in the Northeast... hope to see you all there!

ok we're getting close to ship day...
4 of the five records should be delivered in about 2 weeks now... a little later than hoped, but record store day resulted in delays for all of us small labels.
there was some issues witht he plates from the Pilfers record, and we had to have them redone... the plates are done, and the test presses shipped to us today.. so we should have them approved by the weekend.
thanks for your patience, and we can't wait to shipp all of this stuff out to you!

its really pissing me off that there almost 2 months past the date they were suppose to send us our records -

Please provide an update on whether any of the albums have shipped or when they are expecting to ship. According to the last update the majority of the albums should have shipped by now and no one knows if they are lost in transit or have yet to leave the warehouse.

Posted project update #13test pressings and more!
Ok we ran into a little delay due to the plant clogging monster known as Record Store Day...but have no fear...we'll have the test pressings in a few days for 3 of the 4 records and the bonus 7....there was an issue with the plates for the pilfers and they're being redone this week. Were keeping our fingers crossed that we'll receive, and be able to ship in April still...but we'll update everyone as soon as we know what's up. For all you who have been asking...ska kickstarter round 2 is almost ready to go, and we'll be announcing that very shortly....as well as ska is dead club series 2....so 2012 is going to have a shitload of vinyl for your collections!Post Comment -

Post Commentcame home to literally 100lbs of plastic sleeves for the records, and 3 huge cases of cardboard mailers.... we should have test presses any day now!
if you're in the northeast.. the slackers are doing a couple shows this weekend! don't miss out on one of the best ska bands in the world!

got the remaining 3 reference lacquers in this afternoon, and im currently listening to them so we can get them approved asap! everything is flowing nicely!
if you're in the CT/NY area... a ton of slackers and pietasters shows are going on in the next few weeks... don't miss them!

Hey boys & girls,
Our friend Dave over at Lucky Lacquers just sent me the masters for Suburban Legends and the secret bonus 7" and both sound fantastic.... i should have the remaining 3 in a few more days... at which point we should have test presses in a week or so...
GETTING SOOOOO CLOSE !!!

currently my living room is full of boxes of jackets, and we're anxiously awaiting the lacquers to approve... yesterday we even got the sleeves for the super secret bonus 7" :)
we're still on track for our mid april release, and we're sooo excited to be getting these records out finally!

Posted project update #8Your friday update!
Just to keep everyone in the loop heres where we're at!
JACKETS - All the artwork has been finished, and proofs approved.. and is currently being printed by our good friends at www.iloveimprint.com , if you need any kind of print done for your band/label... hit them up and tell walt we sent ya... he'll take good care of you.
INSERTS - we're banging away at these, and hope to have them done shortly...
records! - 4 of the 5 have been sent on their way to be lacquered, and we should have the references back shortly!
nothing too exciting, but just wanted to drop you a line to let you know we're dilligently working to get these out asap! and once these are ready to go, we will be announcing round II! i know you're all going to be stoked :)
