    Doha, Dubai, Nairobi and Paris

I'm on the last leg of the almost two year trip with the final stops being Doha, Dubai, Nairobi and Paris. I'll be back in the states to launch the project with May 16th as the hopeful launch date.

The book is in the hands of an editor and I'm generally enjoying the experience (such an odd process to write, justify and then rewrite).

This picture is from a beach in Qatar.

    Have an adventure this week.

As I said before, I love this piece, it is really inspiring. Some constructive feedback: a bit more structure would help outline the point(s) you are making. Is it that one should forgive themselves? How is the party related to forgiveness, to the fact that the guy only selected the best moments, to taking in all the experiences. What does it mean to embrace every moment? Maybe an example of how we usually don't embrace the bad moments would help.
I mean this in as helpful and nice way as possible: http://www.fullcontact.com/2012/02/04/dont-get-grinfucked-by-your-users/

    Book Status: Travel

"This Book Is About Travel" just crossed the funding goal!  Thank you so much to everyone that chipped in.  I just put up a *very* basic site, if you have a blog I would love if you added me to the blog roll.  http://thisbookisabouttravel.com/

I'm working on the book, launch plan, website and design (and going to have to manage doing this on the road).

I'm looking into some extra perks (shirts or postcards anyone?) for everyone being so great.  Thanks for all the support and hope you are thinking about your next trip.

    Oh mai, oh hai.

    An update!  An update!

This Book Is About Travel is going very well thanks to the good looking 139 of you.

I grabbed a random paragraph from the book for your late afternoon reading pleasure:

"Sharks don't eat people.  Sharks don't eat people.  Sharks don't eat people."  It is almost pitch dark and swimming three meters above our group of divers are 20 sharks, feeding on something at the surface.  Your body reacts to predators like an unwelcome dinner guest – you are pleasantly surprised, glad you saw them in time and are going to be incredibly polite to them until they leave."

I am beyond floored at all the support from all around the world for this project.

Here is a picture of a cat in Thailand.
