Posted project update #2One-Point-Oh: Day One
Post CommentSo we've decided that we want to go ahead and try and get as much of our final product developed as we can. We're planning a *MASSIVE* recode & retooling based on what we're learning from our production demo (Running "live" at www.ossia.fm).
Step one of this was to get the team together to lock down the features we definitely want to launch with and then re-plan our feature rollout schedule. I'm mostly happy because I believe that even though the feature set is not complete (we called it a night so we could get rest for tomorrow), we already have about a half dozen major features that will put us out ahead of everyone currently trying to enter this market space and several plans to expand on everything to keep us ahead and further distance ourselves ahead of the pack.
More importantly, I think our service is shaping up to really be something truly special. I'm confidant that we will be able to take Ossia and do all of the things we want to do with it and make it a really powerful tool for DIY musicians.
Needless to say, I'm *very* excited.

Posted project update #1Thanks!
Post CommentHey wow! I really want to thank the two people that have pledged so far. Still 59 days to go. I think we might be able to pull it off.
In preparation for this, I'm going to get some videos ready to show off what we have so far. Should be exciting.
Also, don't forget to follow us on Twitter (www.twitter.com/ossia) for more frequent updates and personal developer wins and fails :)
Thanks again,
Alex

Ossia: The Open Music Marketplace by Alex Stone
We built a website so that musicians with no money and very little technical know-how can still distribute their music, digitally...
