Post CommentThe Motopony vinyl EP is no more. The record industry is tricky business and apparently there isn't a place in everyones' hearts for DIY efforts like KickStarter.com. I would like to personally thank everyone that was involved in the project and everyone that pledged. I'll leave you with a letter from Daniel Blue and the band:
"Hey people,
We had to make a tough strategic call and cancel the kickstarter croudsoursed motopony ep vinyl release. We have actually had some interest from the industry in the band, and we have been encouraged to go about things in a slightly different way. We are VERY exited about what is happening to this band and we encourage you to stay tuned as we continue to let this pony roll faster and faster. look mom, no breaks.
I want to sincerely thank everyone who got exited enough about the kickstarter project to pledge. We feel your love and support and we promise to keep you updated about our upcoming releases. Please forgive us for tempting you like that, we are getting solid insider industry advise about some ways to poise ourselves for success.

Post CommentLast Friday I went over to Motopony's practice and we had a mini BBQ. We're still editing footage, but I thought I'd give you all a sneak preview of the night.

Motopony is preparing to release their new EP "Wait For Me" and will be cutting a 500 piece limited edition vinyl 12" record.
