We did it! The DVD has been edited, mastered and authored, and is now in the hands of the duplication company. It looks gorgeous and sounds gorgeous...
...but don't take my word for it! We've uploaded a preview track online: the song "Like Smoke", from the forthcoming DVD. This link will go out to the band's mailing list and social networks tomorrow, but we wanted to give you the first look:
And while you're at it, check out the awesome artwork for the DVD sleeve (designed by Xiren, with cover art by Jeff Leisawitz). I've attached it below.
Thank you again for your part in making The Aaron English Band's first DVD possible! We'll be mailing out the Kickstarter "rewards" in May. If you haven't responded to our survey yet, please do: we need to know your current mailing address and reward preferences so we can send you the right stuff, to the right place, as soon as we get it all back from the manufacturers!

Post CommentWe got gorgeous footage and great audio from the concert /DVD shoot on January 28th, and editing has already begun.
Click on the video to hear Aaron's update on the project, watch a slideshow of images from the performance...and hear some rough mixes of the songs themselves.
And then expect to hear from us next week as we begin to reach out re: fulfilling the "rewards" we owe to each of you. Thank you again for being a backer!

Post CommentWe are overwhelmed by the generosity of our fans. With seven days to go, we met our goal of $7,000. The fund-raising campaign continues through Sunday, January 15th. After that, it's go-time for the DVD shoot: the band members and video crew will fly into Seattle and we'll prep for the concert on January 28th!
We'll be posting updates here on our progress (video and blogs from rehearsals) in the days leading up to the concert.In the meantime, we held a press conference to celebrate meeting our Kickstarter goal. Click here to watch that video...
