hey-
so, i'm happy to say this looks like it's working! the word is getting out and things are coming along.
this afternoon we have a meeting to discuss exactly how the set needs to be changed in order to make the 30 minute changeover.
i'm hoping to be able to post some drawings and such of how that's gonna work.
meanwhile, pt 3 of the trilogy is alive and kicking at st. ann's warehouse in dumbo. here's a link to the new york times review: http://theater2.nytimes.com/2009/05/27/theater/reviews/27succ.html...more soon,

Posted project update #6ok- i'll just write it!
hey everyone. looks like i've reached my limit for video uploads so i'll just tell you what's going on.
first, thanks for the continued support and new backers. continue to spread the word to all you know. if we can get all our friends and all their friends to give $1 or $5, we can raise this money faster than you think.
Also, i got an email from john hodgman the other day and he says the following:
"500 gets you a song from Cynthia anywhere in the five boroughs. Add another 250, and I will, additionally, call you ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD and sing you a Cynthia song."so there you have it.

Posted project update #1a couple more pics
hey-
so here's some more images of the set.
the little table full of stuff over there is the spot from which jim findlay and jeff sugg control all the video and lighting for the show. we utilize pre-recorded video with live cameras. some of the live stuff is of action on stage and other bits are tracking shots and such through the scale models that populate our table. -
