It's been a while since I've updated you on ZMED. Here's the skinny! This is a long one...sorry.- We got our t-shirts in yesterday! We're waiting for the last few pieces of art to be completed and then we're sending out your rewards! Some of you will receive your t-shirts before your posters and character prints, but don't worry - those are coming to you in a separate package in a few weeks! I was so excited, I had to pop them in the mail to you right away :)
- As you know, the series has distribution on Machinima. The trailer launched on Sunday and we're at 95,000 views and counting. We've been getting some press from FEARnet, NerdBastards, Quiet Earth, ZombieRama, and more! Check it out: http://youtu.be/JbdfDzSa8z4

We've been super busy getting this episode in the can!
I wanted to share with you some of our new zombies - check 'em out! A good majority of them are based on people who donated $200+ and got drawn into the show. A special thanks to them! They rock.
We will be sending out all of your rewards at the end of this month too!
Hope 2012 kicks 2011's ass...zombie-style.

Post CommentZOMBIE MURDER EXPLOSION DIE! was successfully funded! I wanted to personally thank all of your for donating your hard-earned dollas to our little dream. We actually exceeded our goal which is just awesome because we are now able to pay everyone who worked on the project for free. That makes us and them extremely grateful!
Right now, as you are reading this, we have 3 wonderful animators working on ZMED. We've got 7 out of 46 shots complete - still a long way to go, but we will get there and it's really coming together! We will be giving you updates periodically through Kickstarter so you can follow our progress.
FOLLOW THE SHOW: Episode 101 will air in late January or early February on Machinima's YouTube channel. They have some really cool stuff, so you might want to subscribe now to see what they're all about. You can also subscribe to the Sonic Bunny Channel for bonus videos (behind the scenes, Robbie & Harold vlog, etc). AND you guessed it, we're on Facebook too.
We hope that we will get enough fans and subscribers to get sponsorship and do 5 more episodes in 2012!

I attached a little taste of the animation so you can see how it's coming together. Also, Episode 101 features an epic arcade dance battle on our Dance Magic Dance machine! If you can tell...things might not go as planned.
We'd love to get a few more donations today so we can pay all the cool people who worked for us for free!

Post CommentHello, morning face :) I'm up way to early on Saturday morning, but that's what we workin' folks do. First of all, a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who donated! I can't believe we've exceeded our goal! The extra money means that our prop builder, storyboard artist, background artist, choreographer, and composer can get paid! That means a lot to us because working for free happens way too often in the indie film world.
I wanted to share with you our VERY FIRST PRESS. It comes by the way of Chance Raspberry who's an animator on The Simpsons. He does a monthly newsletter and featured Zombie Murder Explosion Die!

Exciting news! We got our three animators, Chris Spry, Patrick Mejia, and Sean Orlanda started animating last week. The shots are coming in! I wanted to share some of the backgrounds with you. Check them out below.
They were designed by Brian Ochoa and colored by Jean Kang!
We have 8 DAYS LEFT on our campaign! Because we exceeded our goal we were able to pay our storyboard artist, choreographer, and prop designer - who were graciously working for free. We still have a few other people we'd love to be able to pay, so the extra money helps out tremendously. Thanks for donating!

Post CommentHi everyone! We only have 20 DAYS LEFT to meet our funding goal. We're moving full-steam ahead and we have animators starting next week. So we're paying everything out of pocket right now, which is tough around the holidays. If you've already contributed, maybe post a link on your Facebook page for us? It would really help!
