    It's a Nail Biter!

We're in the home stretch of our fund drive with only 3 days and $455 to go. It's all or nothing- if we don't reach the goal by midnight on Wednesday, we get ZIP. So now would be a great time to email your friends and post our Kickstarter link on your webpages. http://kck.st/9OE7TT

And take a look at the great write-up about the Reliquary in Edible Brooklyn. http://www.ediblebrooklyn.com/spring-2010/aftertaste.htm

Thanks to everyone who has donated so far! Just a couple hundred clams and we're over the top. So, as always, Be Civic!

St. Patrick's Day Benefit Concert this Wednesday

This Wednesday is the St. Patrick's Day Concert Benefit, the City Reliquary's last big effort to reach our first goal of the year: $20,000 by March 31st!

During the past 2 months, we have been able to raise $17,632 through the generous donations we've recieved through, museum admissions, CR membership campaign, Firefighter Auction-a-Date, Kickstarter, and the 3rd Annual Panorama Challenge!! We just need $2,368 more to reach our first of three goals throughout the year! By helping us sell 150 tickets to an amazing event this St. Patrick's Day, you can help us surpass our first goal of the year!

By reaching this goal, we'll be on our way to making sure we can continue to offer the great events, educational programming, and unique museum we've brought to you for the past 8 years! Please help us by passing on the information below about this week's event to your friends who love great music and preserving the character that makes New York City so special.

Bugs and Bristles and Protection from Hot Pots

Thank you so much for your contribution to the City Reliquary! So far your donations have brought us nearly $300 closer to our goal of $1,000. Only $700 to go! So we're writing to ask you, as a friend of the Reliquary, to help put out the word about our Kickstarter campaign. Posting the link (http://kck.st/9OE7TT) on your Facebook page, and emailing friends could easily put us over the top.

And you can mention the new Rewards listed today. We are now offering DSNY Street Sweeper Bristles, Croton Bugs, and Pot Holders for donations of $5, $10 and $20 respectively. These rewards are retroactive for our faithful Kickstarter donors. If you'd like one, just go to the blue box on our home page that says MANAGE YOUR PLEDGE and adjust your Reward to include one of these items.

These and many other strange and wondrous historical artifacts are available in the gift shop of the City Reliquary. Just one more reason to pay us a visit some Saturday or Sunday. Hope to see you soon!
