Posted project update #12Whoo Hoo!!!!
Post Comment14 hours to go on one of the most humbling and amazing experiences we've had with this project.
We are eternally grateful to all of you and the people that you have directed to this project. Not only have we exceeded our goals financially, we've gone leaps and bounds beyond what we were trying to do - reach people and galvanize a community to be a part of a film (that we believe, and you have proven) that it wants to see. The kick start that we've gotten from Kickstarter has us bolting out of the gate We have been busy scheduling meetings with major players, and fielding offers to host upcoming crowdfunding events across the country. All of you are cordially invited. Stay tuned!!
And if you have a minute today, direct someone to this page or our website www.leavingatlantathemovie.net. We love "visitors" and we'll continue to spread the word with the help of wonderful, supportive people like you.
Many thanks. Peace and blessings. Salaam.
We love you!!!!!!!

Posted project update #11The home stretch....
Post CommentHello Beautiful Souls:
We will forever shower you with gratitude for believing in, and supporting Leaving Atlanta. We hope you hade the opportunity to hear Aletha (Producer) in her first radio interview about this project this past Friday on the Wash Allen show KCOH - Houston. It went very well and gave the campaign a nice kick over the weekend.
Tomorrow (10/14) Karon Vereen-Davis (director), Tayari Jones (award winning author), and Aletha, will be interviewed on an Atlanta internet radio show - Shelley Wynter's "The Right Side." http://shelleywyntershow.com/
Tell your cyber peeps, tell a stranger, chat one person up in the next few days...send them to this site or the website. With 5 days left on this campaign, we're running ahead full steam towards Saturday!!!
The website is back up www.leavingatlantathemovie.net and all of you wonderful beings are listed.
Thanks for your continued support. This is just the beginning for a little project that could.
Kindest regards.
