Posted project update #4A Special Message from Karen Noonan, program director at WDSC
Post Comment
Here at WDSC-TV PBS 15 we are more than eager to work with Molly Conole and her talented crew in the creation of more episodes for a series as equally inspired and inspiring as the pilot of her bound-for-fame program: Ms. Mola’s Make-ola!
As the presenting station we’ve been airing the Pilot and have heard from lots of kids and parents alike who have already discovered it and the enthusiasm inspired by just the first of what will undoubtedly be a long run of nationally distributed youth inspiring creative programs. Especially timely in content in this new conscientiousness about our world’s resources - showing kids that being green can be lots of fun too!
We want more! The only thing holding this worthwhile project from taking off like the space shuttle is the need for some of that green stuff needed to fuel the creation machine. That’s where you come in.
Please help Molly make her initial funding goal and then proudly carry with you the knowledge that you have been a part, however large or small - it all matters, in the making of something that will make a difference, that will inspire kids everywhere, to think creatively and be resourceful in the use of the gifts the world has to offer. That’s a huge return on investment!
Make a gift of the heart by voting “yes” with some green dollars !
Thank you!

Posted project update #11Ms Mola Plan B 75 percent funded - we are close!
Post CommentThanks so much everyone!
After several new pledges today, we have hit $7425 of our $9850 needed for the Ms. Mola campaign... That means we are now at 75 percent with today's pledges! We have four days to go, so let's kick the campaign into overdrive:
Tell your friends and neighbors, and send them our link on the front page of the campaign...
Here's some fantastic news, too - we are now in discussions to complete a FULL 13 episodes of the show, if (and when) this campaign is successful! So not one episode, not three... But 13! Like, wow!
Stay tuned - More news on this very soon... -

Posted project update #10Second Ms. Mola's Make-Ola campaign goes into high gear!
Post CommentWow! What a first week!
With just a short, 3 week campaign, we've had an incredible run so far... In just a little over a week we've raised almost $7000 of our $9850 target for the show! Check out the rockin' new campaign here: http://kck.st/cIPlUN
Thanks to the 23 backers who have helped out with their generous pledges! With yesterday's pledges we just crossed the 70 percent funded threshold- We still have 11 days to go - we are in good shape, but now is the time for us to turn up the heat! Please remind your friends about the deadline- we have until 11:59 EST on April 11 to cross the 100 percent funded mark.
P.S. Just a reminder - to any parties that made a pledge to the first campaign, the funding was cancelled, and a new extension campaign was started to continue the show. Anyone who pledged to the first campaign will NOT be charged. Your pledge will only count if you choose to renew it by making a pledge at the new link: http://kck.st/cIPlUN Also, you do not need to make the same pledge as before. It is an entirely new campaign, so any amount you choose is greatly appreciated!
If all pledges from the first campaign can jump on board this week, we will make it! Let's try and hit that funding goal by this weekend! Send an email with a link to the campaign to your friends, tell your followers and friends on Twitter and Facebook... Ms. Mola is going back to the studio soon! :-)
Thanks to all our Make-ola Fan-olas!
