Posted project update #6We're Doing It: The Misadventures of a Live Internet Sketch Comedy Show
Post CommentHello Everyone!
Well, we're still alive. In fact, we're more than alive; we're doing it!
Thanks to you, we are well on our way to producing the first episode of (drumroll)...
Exquisite Corpse
That's right, we've come up with a name for Claymore's live internet sketch comedy show. And our first episode we'll make it's premier...
Sunday, May 30th, 8pm, live from Studio BE, ChicagoOver the past two months, we've been working on a lot: Getting the equipment, testing the equipment, renting space, working with our writers for the past two weeks, promotional materials, a brand new website, sponsorship, video production, theme song (compliments of Little Justice) and so on. We've got a lot on our hands, but so far it's been very rewarding, and we're pretty excited to share this with all of you.
More updates are on the way, but for now, I'm going to leave you with Peyton highlighting some of the equipment we purchased and the space we'll be performing in.
Thanks again to everyone for your support. See you May 30th!
Love,
Claymore Productions

We cannot express how thankful we are to everyone who has pledged to this little dream of ours. Thanks to you, not only did we meet our goal of $5000, but we exceeded it with the final amount of $6075! Incredible.
Thanks to you, we can move forward. And as we move forward, we will make sure to keep you updated with this Great Media Experiment, and we hope that you stay in touch with us.
Again, words can't express our gratitude, so we'll simply say thank you, thank you, thank you.
The best is yet to come!

Posted project update #4We did it! Peyton got a tattoo!
Hello Friends,
On Tuesday, February 9, 2010, around midnight, Claymore member, Peyton Brown, was tattooed with the Claymore coffee stain, which means...we did it!
The fundraiser was a rousing success. With ticket sales and online contributions, we were able to surpass our goal of $5000. And what was really cool was that it was streamed live over the internet for tens of people to see!
We want to thank everyone who helped in every and any way. We especially want to thank our contributors who made this possible and who believe in us. We are very grateful to you and because of you we can take the next, big step. Thank you!
We would also like to thank our writing staff who came out to introduce themselves and pitch their genius ideas. Thank you!
We want to thank our talented acts that kept the masses entertained, On Tap Chicago (http://bit.ly/aWrgSy), Brendan McGowan, Ken Barnard (http://www.kenbarnard.com/), and Dan Tedesco and The Long Haul (http://www.myspace.com/DanTedesco). Please check these artists out and support them any way you can. Thank you!
We would also like to thank DireWolf Productions (http://direwolfproductions.wordpress.com/), with the competent and ambitious crew of Steve, Matt, and Isaac. They are awesome and they're coming with us! Thank you!
Thanks to Galen for capturing the night photographically. Thank you!
So in conclusion, everyone is good; everyone is kind. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We'll be in touch!
Love You All Dearly,
Claymore Productions
