Lee Bishop

I am a documentary filmmaker. I attended the University of Arkansas, the home of the Razorbacks. I worked for an ABC broadcast affiliate for a couple of years on a hiatus from working with documentary film. I am also hoping to open my own business in the near future in Little Rock, AR.

    DVDs at tier 2 pledges

I have found a company to publish DVDs at a very economical rate. That's good news for backers of the project because it means more DVDs to be given out.

So, backers pledging $50-99 (tier 2) will also receive a DVD copy of the film once completed.

    Spread with word.

    Not looking good :(

I haven been out there telling hundreds of people and thousands have been told about this project.

But in the last 20 days only four people have pledged to this project.

I don't know what else to do. I know there are some great people out there that support films and projects, that's obvious from seeing backed projects here, but I am becoming disheartened from a lot of people I've spoken with telling me they would love to see this project go and they haven't jumped on board.

So guys, please try and spread the word. Apparently I can't do it by myself.

Looks like a great subject for a film and congrats on getting those folks to interview. Who else do we filmmakers have but each other? I wish you the best fella. I hope to be following your way to Slam Dance next year.

    Trying to get big interviews

I'm hoping I don't jynx this film, but I just sent an interview request to a former US president that used Pearson bows as a boy.

    I hope it works out!

    :O

Oh boy. I'm hoping that everyone is just distracted with the football bowl games today. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come for the other 88 days.

I really would love to preserve this man's accomplishments and contributions on film.

Ben Pearson: An Archery Legend by Lee Bishop

I'm making a documentary about Ben Pearson. He started his own company in the Depression that later grew to the largest archery company in the world.
