Posted project update #36 Day Count Down and Ping Pong Fundraiser
Post CommentHi there and thank you so much to everyone for so graciously donating to this project!
There's just under 1 week left to get this funded, so for the last push, we're hosting an event that's going to put the "fun" in fundraiser!
It's called Love Your Farmer and it'll be held at New York's only members ping pong club, Spin.
There'll be a doubles tournament, an open table for you to play, DJs and, obviously, great people. We realize you've already donated, but all tickets from the Love Thy Farmer event will go toward the making sure we reach the goal for this Ananda Harvest Cabin Project.
So come out, tell a friend, and just plain have some fun!
Here's the info and hope to see you there!
WHEN: February 12th, 2009 8pm- 11:30pm
WHERE: SPiN New York 48 East 23rd Street New York, NY 10010
MORE INFO: http://lovethyfarmer.eventbrite.com/
TICKETS: Advance Ticket Donation on kickstarter of $20 or more!) Door price ( $25.00) http://lovethyfarmer.eventbrite.com/

Posted project update #1We've Struck Water!
Hey all!
Just wanted to let you know that a couple of weekends ago, we made an investment in this cabin and the others to come. We dug a well! That's right, we're prepping the area to have fresh running water. And not just fresh, we're talking glacial. The land near our cabin has a great spot with a store of fresh glacial water that's never been touched by human impact (... awesome). Not only that, in the process of drilling, we found out that we're sitting on a glacial deposit of clay that makes it perfect for geothermal heating! More plans on that later, but thought we'd share!
Happy holidays all and more photos, and video to come soon!
Love and Light from Ananda
