commented on a project update11 DAYS TO GO! We are on our way but still have a ways to go! I can not say thank you enough to those who have helped us so far... We will be on Radio Disney 910 AM in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming on Sunday the 12th in the morning 6AM so tune in for our shout out on Radio Disney! You will also get to hear a representative speak from the "Chain Breakers Foundation" she had a wealth of knowledge to share and I am so fortunate to be teaming up with them. Originally as some of you know, I was going to start my own foundation called "White Wings for Domestic Health" but when I found a foundation right here in Utah that has been successfully running for many years, I thought that it would be best to join up with them! The Chain Breakers Foundation already has classes and counseling for relationship health. However, I hope to take it to another level by bringing information and knowledge to youth and centers all over the US on how to have healthy relationships and stop abuse before it starts. With this I hope to be able to curb abuse and death rates that occur with domestic violence. Knowledge is the key.

commented on a project updateDay.... I'm not sure what day it is now! We have gotten off to a great start on the first weeks of this campaign. But now we have got to really spread the news! We have started to work out possible dates and the schedule for filming to complete "White Wings". On Thursday I have an interview with Radio Disney to talk about the film and will also be bringing in a rep from the "Chain Breakers Foundation". It will be on the air in just a few weeks! So stay tuned and I will get out date and time! We had a great time up at Sundance this year and met some great people. Lots of networking opps! Also we had a booth at the LDS Festival and had great response from the trailer we had playing of "White Wings" Everyone young and old would stand and stare! I think we have something very special on our hands and can not wait to take it to film festivals! I wish you are all your dreams a happy every after! Life life, Love life and always remember to enjoy the journey!!!

Wow I am so excited about where we are at the end of day one. We have 33 more days ahead of us and to get funded we have to reach 20K so, (almost) 1k down 19k to go!!!
I have had a few people contact me and thank me (and all of of you) for helping to make this film for DV Awareness. There are people who live in fear every day both men and women. We all the the right to follow or dreams and live free of abuse. There are solutions and one of them is knowledge.
When I started the film I was planing to launch White Wings DV Awareness when the feature was released. But then I found this foundation here in Utah who has the same mission I was going for: http://www.chainbreakerfoundation.com/ breaking the chains of DV. My hope for the future is to save lives by educating youth, teens and adults about the patterns of abuse so they can make better choices in relationships and stop it before it starts.
