commented on a project updateDear Kevin, Roko, and all of we merry band of Happy supporters, or vice versa if it tickles your fancy! I will vote ere too long but under protest I regret. You see, and I am sorry to have to say this, but I found every single one of the "choices?" offered so bland, boring, and unattractive that not a single one either piqued my interest or desire to view a movie so badly advertised. There is no real choice offered since all are variations of the one theme, a theme that I must add that I find completely lacking any artistic or aesthetic imagination, that does not even portray in any way the concept of happiness. I will vote for # 1 since I feel it to be the best of a bad bunch and one that could easily be bettered by almost any group of primary age children. I will vote for # 1 if the word Happy is re-designed (merely tweaked) to more resemble a happy, smiling face and the bland, boring background is replaced with a collage of extremely happy, excited, smiling faces. Were it my decision the central picture would be of that epitome of happiness, who sings, "It's a Wonderful World." and whose smile could light up a continent, ol' Satchmo' - Mr Louis Armstrong. Now, were I to see a poster like that I would be knocking down the Booking Office door to get my ticket and tickets for all my friends. I therefore vote not to vote since not one, as they stand, are worth voting for. Aah, the heady Power of being a Critic LOL! Instead I send the Movie all of my love and my good wishes for its success, which I hope is immense.
