Posted project update #1Project Successful!
Post CommentThanks to everyone who backed the Hartford Museum Passport!
Now that the printing budget is established, I'll be working with Scout Books to finalize the design, mix the ink colors and churn out passports for each backer and, of course, a whole bunch of Hartford students.
I'm also working with Hartford Performs, an arts education collaborative between Hartford Public Schools and community arts providers, to create incentives for using the passport. These may apply to admission, membership or special events.
Ideally, this will all be completed and the passports will be delivered by the end of August. Once we're ready to start the presses, I'll be sending out a survey to each backer to gather shipping information and the number of passports requested.
I hope everyone is as excited as I am! Thanks again for all the support.

Posted project update #3Hartford Metro Map Funding Party & Art Show
Post CommentHi folks,
The Hartford Metro Map has surpassed its funding goal so the project looks like it's going to happen! Thank you for your support! On Friday, September 24, Hartford's own La Paloma Sabanera Coffee House (405 Capitol Avenue Hartford, CT 06106) will be hosting a funding celebration party and displaying some other artworks of mine from 5pm - 8:30pm. There will be hard mulled cider to soothe the cold bite of the evening and a 100% chance of an after-party. Here's a link to the event for those of you on the Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/#!/event.php?eid=150440154986460After the project officially ends on September 26th, I'll be getting in touch with you to determine delivery methods and get t-shirt sizes if you ordered one (there's still time to upgrade if you haven't!).
Thanks again to everyone who supported the project and spread the word.
Salut!
