Since the end of our Kickstarter campaign, much has happened for Perf and Degeneration X and we thought it was time to update you, our loyal backers. First and foremost, we are proud to announce that Degeneration X will be debuting at The Living Theatre located in Manhattan's historical Lower East Side neighborhood, for a four week run opening April 19th, 2012! The Living Theatre has granted Perf Productions a one year residency starting December 1, 2011. We are elated to have found such a legendary home for our company and are confident that The Living Theatre garners the essential ingredients for a booming premiere of Degeneration X.We have successfully completed Act I of Degeneration X: The Film, and are now moving into Act II: The Stage. It was with your support and encouragement that we were able to accomplish this first feat; we absolutely could not have done it without you. Thank you for breathing the first breaths of life into this show, allowing it to stand firm on its feet for the first time. Your contributions allowed us all kinds of equipment from a light bulb to a doorway dolly, car rentals (including a NYC taxi!), set pieces, film transfers, props, costumes, makeup, food, and the list goes on. Your faith is what kept us going and has lifted us to the next phase of our project.We recently launched our second fundraising campaign for Act II: The Stage via www.perfproductions.com and are continuing to seek corporate sponsors, ad sales, private investors, executive producers, and grants. If you have any leads or contacts regarding these kinds of opportunities, please send them our way. We believe we have something that is gearing to take off at a fast pace in a big way, so now is the time to jump on board and work with us! We thank you for already hopping aboard the X train and encourage you to stay on and enjoy this ride.I'd like to take this time to invite all of you to our first event at The Living Theatre, "Xploration: A Benefit to Satisfy Your Senses" on Wednesday, December 7th, 2011 starting at 7pm. We will be celebrating the upcoming debut of Degeneration X and the start of our one year artists' residency at TLT. Come out, see our space, and enjoy an evening that will be sure to tickle and indulge your senses: food, drink, three musical acts, photo booth, live art, photography, a trip to our sensory discovery room, plus lots more to explore. We are in the final week of raising funds and we wanted to reach out to our loyal fans one more time. Not for more money, but to pass on the link, the word, and the love for this project. Our new goal is to reach $10,000. As of today we only need a couple thousand dollars to get there. What it means if we get it is better equipment, bigger budgets for designers, cooler graphics, and a better venue. If each of our backers could share our project with just 1 other person they think would be interested in it we think we can easily accomplish our goal of raising an additional $2,000!

As of one day ago, we have reached, in fact, surpassed, our fundraising goal!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
It's amazing to know you all believe in us and this project so much that you have helped us reach our goal over a month early! This has lit a fire under us and we are overwhelmed with gratitude. Because of you, we are several steps closer to making Degeneration X the best production it can be.
With 38 days left before our Kickstarter deadline, we are gonna keep going! We are now challenging ourselves to raise $10,000 by June 4 and we have faith that we can do it. Supporters like you have proven to us that with enough hard work, dedication, heart and soul, anything is possible! You get what you give, and we can't wait to give you a great show.
So thank you riding along-side this journey with us. You are making dreams come true.
