    Showtime:)

I hate to say it, but I wish I had continued to use this site to update all of the many supporters  for our show!  I'll be sure to post regular updates here and please just unsubscribe if you don't wish to follow our progress.

We now have 3 shows under our belt and all of the dogs(and owners) are doing really well.  We have also been fortunate enough to have received a lot of local media attention.  We were just on a local morning show yesterday and I thought you would all enjoy watching the clip of some of the dogs in action.  We spent 3 hours with WGN and had about 10 minutes of airtime  which we thought was great.  This link will take you to the last 2 minutes of the spot:)

This should give you all a good feel for the set and performance space and also help you to get to know some of the many people you have supported through our project.

Our next show is this Wednesday, August 24TH at 7:30 PM.  We've been filming many parts of the show and we'll try to share those clips with you as soon as we can.  If you are in the Chicago area and would like to come, we would love to have you join us!  For those of you who have not yet collected on your free tickets and would like to come to this show, please email me at dogsavingnetwork@gmail.com and I'll set some tickets aside for you:)

The next 2 shows after this one are Sunday, September 4TH at 2PM and Wednesday, Sept 14TH at 7:30 PM.

We also have a new facebook fan page if you want to stay even more up to date on our progress:) http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Dog-Saving-Network/119470451465852

I hope you can become a fan of the page and encourage others to do so too.  We've had a great start to the show and our messaging style and you all have made this possible!  Thanks again for all of your contributions and for believing in what we are doing.

    Chris

Great work, Chris! You guys are doing wonderful work to prove to our society that shelter dogs are not "broken." Love the eclectic group of dogs and purebred humans. Keep up the great work, Chris & Co.

    Good Morning

We still haven't received all the contact information for people who are receiving rewards and we would love to get those all out to you here soon.  When you have a moment, could you send me an email dogsavingnetwork@gmail.com with you updated contact info.

If you're getting a t-shirt, then just list your size and also a mailing address so we can send that away.

If you're coming to the show, we'll be booking the dates here soon and I'll send out some days and times for you to choose from.

For video dedications, please let me know who or what organization you would like the video dedicated to and we'll get started on that soon.  Thanks if you've already responded.

Please get that info out to me soon as we really want to pay up!!  Thanks again for all the support!

    Chris

    Still Here:)

I had a busy weekend as I was lucky enough to attend the clicker conference, the place to be for people wanting to learn more about positive reinforcement training.  I don't want to get into the details of the conference, but I left excited about using some of the techniques shared by some of the real pros in this industry.

I wanted to share a video that I saw this weekend in one of the seminars.  The sport, Canine Freestyle, doesn't have a huge draw for me but you can't argue with the skill level and amount of training that goes into one of these routines.  I was blown away by the dog and Handler, Michele Pouliot, in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gT5yAOu8HLc

That should get you smiling:)  Just an update on the rewards, I sent out a survey to have all of the pledges fill out.  Please take a moment to fill them out and if you have any questions, emaill me at dogsavingnetwork@gmail.com

Thanks and I'll keep you updated on our progress!
