Posted project update #7Thank you from the bottom of our bottomless heart...
Post CommentThis was such an exciting day! We hit our goal! We surpassed it! With a couple of hours to spare!
It was so dramatic! Andrea our violin/fiddle player is now contemplating a job at PBS after experiencing the wild adventure of a fundraising countdown. Lisa & I have been shedding tears of joy and gratitude watching people come through in such amazing fashion. The band and cast were glued to our computers watching the love flow in. Chris was building a house. There were many "ooohs" and "ahhhs" and "ayyyyyes" and CHEERING. Seeing so many old friends, supportive fans, and incredible folks coming together to help us realize a wild dream makes my heart feel like bursting into light.
I cannot express how grateful we are for all that you have given. It's simply amazing and unbelievably beautiful. Thank you.
The journey continues. There are many more expenses, strategic planning, and plain good 'ol fashioned WORK to be done to get us ready for the big show... however, one thing is now sure. WE ARE GOING TO EDINBURGH! We have plane tickets, our housing is now secure and paid for... the show will go on!
Glorious, glorious, glory.
Thank you, so very much.

I love my autographed headshots of Shaughn and Chris. Thanks for sending them! Glad that Shaughn got back before my Ari moves away, too.
