Posted project update #4Final update.
Post CommentThis is McGee & Me's final update. Since our ambitious financial goal was not realized, pledges will not be collected. If anyone who pledged is charged anything please let me know. This is not supposed to happen. Credit cards should not be charged.
However, I have happily collected all your wishes towards McGee's success and will continue to write and market the little guy and hope for suggestions re industry contacts or how to make effective cold calls to producers. If anyone cares to read the pilot or any episodes, call or email and I'll email you the script(s). kayoungstown@aol.com or 661-713-0502
Thanks so much for being my friends. You are all wonderful humans!

Posted project update #3Working away here.
Post CommentNote to all backers expressing much appreciation for your support. Your encouragement leads me to keep building McGee & Me - with everything - a McBible, tags and gags, Website content, merchandise tie-ins, storyline continuity, as well as new episodes to complete an eight-week starter season. The more I write, the more real and believable McGee, Freddie, and all the characters become. They can't help but succeed, says McGee, even though blind letters to producers produces little but "returned, wrong address" messages. And cold-calling terrifies us more than sky-divin' without a chute. But we'll call, we will. And one day, force-willin', you'll see this series that needed a miracle on TV. Love to you all.

Posted project update #2Positive reads
Enthusiastic response from readers of the pilot script means I'll be sending out more letters to producers/actors with production companies. How about Bruce McGill to play grizzled vet Zack Greene? Jennifer Garner to play innocent, frazzled Freddie? Glenn Close as ex-Rockette Sheila? Dreamin' here.Post Comment -
