Posted project update #2GNAR TAPES COMPANY PICNIC (halloween party!)
Post CommentAlright, so just a couple days left here and a sizable gap to bridge. In an effort to reach the needed masses we've added a new "project reward."
On Saturday, October 30 we're having our 2nd annual HALLOWEEN PARTY at the VON TUNDRA WAREHOUSE!
This year it will double as a tape release party for GNAR TAPES with live performances from bands who put out on the label including WHITE FANG!!!
With a ten dollar contribution here you get in the door to this NOT-TO-BE-MISSED MOMENTOUS OCCASION!!!
At the door you'll be given a magic cup and one fresh cassette containing the sweet sounds from GNAR'S latest project!
Hope to see you then and there! Wear a costume, duh.

Posted project update #1Heading to the Desert
Post CommentVon Tundra & the Renegade Dinner Club have been invited, by Andrea Zittel, to host a series of design + dinner events at her A-Z WEST compound in Joshua Tree, CA. Events will take place in a desert ravine near her living quarters. We are, of course, very excited to share this news with you.
The original project in Los Angeles is still happening, but will now take place after the events in Joshua Tree which will include dinner, camping, brunch, a pickling demo, an artist talk, and of course lots of time spent staring out into the desert. We'll be making a short film documenting our experience. It will be screened, in its rough form, during the events that will follow in L.A.
