Jon & Joe, Thanks for all your hard work on on this! I'm excited to see that things are just about ready to ship. I've seen the huge variety of positive and negative feedback that you've received - just remember that confirmed funding to shipped product in less than 6 months rivals the production cycles of a many actual product development companies. I'm looking forward to finally using my Orbit!

The show of support over the last few days is mind blowing! We're getting oh-so-close to that $25k mark, and I love all of the discussion and deep deep enthusiasm for both Robocop and the city itself. I'm involved with the IS team, and I just threw my hat a little farther into this ring with a donation to the project. Whether it's ROI, Return-on-Awesome, curious internet rubbernecking or anything else that motivates you, this is a cool project to support. There are other orgs that deserve your money, yes, but there's room for all. I know $50k sounds like a huge sum, but its not as though it's coming from some other organization. It's all in good faith, good fun, and much of it is from out of town. In terms of what flows through the city daily (or doesn't), this will be a great addition to whichever neighborhood receives the completed statue both when it goes up and as it stays.

Despite the haters, I have to say this round has done an excellent job of showing off just how far loveland has come. Another 108 people? another $2k?! That's great news for project, great news for the non-profits you're partnering with in the spring, and great news for everyone who's put in time to help this get as far as it has. This project is in the unique position of investing in Detroit using money that largely comes from outside the city and isn't from a government source. Keep up the good work!
