Post CommentI want to throw a party and release a flashy, artistic limited run of two EPs that I’m currently recording. I’m not panhandling. If you don’t give, it doesn’t make a difference as far as the release of the final project. If you do give, you get a special, super limited pressing of an album that’s really good (and only for Atlantans- unless you're an extra special out of town friend), and you get all the booze you care to drink at a party at my house, party favors, food, music, etc. I feel like this is a way to go the extra mile in a way that’s fair and fun for everyone.
Approx cost of throwing the party=$450
Approx cost of art/poster/CD duplication=$600 (assuming 50 people donate) (double if 100)
I feel like $20 is well worth that.
