Andrew vs. The Collective by Andrew Fitzgerald

I wrote a novel! And I wanted to try a fun way to distribute it. The book is called The Collective. This is Andrew vs. The Collective.

I posted this question (perhaps foolishly) in the comments section of one of your updates. Perhaps it would make more sense here: A question about the project and KickStarter came up today and I was unable to find an answer in the FAQ section. Perhaps you know. If a project exceeds its financial goal, is the project's owner obligated to put the extra cash into the project? Can he/she/they pocket the extra? I remember you saying something to the affect of, the more funds I get, the cooler the product will be (i.e. I will spend all the money on the production value). Perhaps this is not an obligation? Just curious. -ac P.S. Totally excited about this. And what ever happened to the Kindle only short story that came out after Mr. Penumbra's? You said if it sold 100 (?) copies that you would make it available to all. I'd love to read it.

Robin writes a book (and you get a copy) by Robin Sloan

I'm writing a detective story set halfway between San Francisco and the internet. And the more people who reserve a copy, the better each one will be!
