Posted project update #4Formspring Chat with 4D4Films Tonight!
Post CommentWell, here we are closing in on the final 24 hours of the campaign. We'd like to thank all of you who have already pledged our project - your support truly means so much to us!
We'd hoped to do these updates on a more regular basis, but between prepping for the anniversary party, actually shooting the anniversary party, and then subsequently trying to organize and catalog all the footage, the past 61 days have just flown by.
That's not to say we haven't been trying our hardest to promote the project (and the campaign) along the way. We were thrilled to find out yesterday that one of the radio stations in Spokane (River 96.9FM) has been championing our cause. We have also been fortunate to have so many or our Twitter and Facebook friends helping to get the word out about the documentary.
As of this writing we are still $1692 short of reaching our goal. But we have not given up faith just yet. There are oodles of great projects out there just as deserving of funding as our project is and we are still relative newcomers in the indie film community. But those are obstacles we knew we faced from the start and we are not going to let it stop us from going for it until the very end.
Self promotion is definitely not our strong suit, but in honor of the final 24 hours and in the spirit of never giving up, we are inviting our friends, fans and certainly any potential backers to ask questions about 4D4Films, the project, Kickstarter or even what we think the Canucks' chances are next season, tonight on Formspring.me
Please join us on http://www.formspring.me/4D4Films We'll be answering questions from 7pm - 10pm PST. We look forward to hearing from you!

Posted project update #2Kik Axe Music blog post about our project
Post CommentOne of our Twitter followers (@kikaxeent) wrote a blog post last night in which he shared some memories of the record stores he frequented as a youth and stated his interest in our project "Thanks for your support!"
You can read it here: www.kikaxemusic.com/news/general-news/804-indie-filmmakers-document-20-years-qrecorded-memoriesq
He also mentioned that the working title "Thanks for your support!" reminded him of the old Bartles & Jaymes commercials. We're curious to know if anyone else had the same thought?
Thanks again to all of you who have pledged and to everyone who is helping us get the word out!
