Hello All!
Just an update for everyone to know where their hard earned money went.
We've gotten back our mastered sound and it's great. We've also, just in the last day or so, received a 98% complete color correction (just 3 shots that we have to 're-color'). We had some troubles with codecs and the like that have made this process much longer than we anticipated, but you guys don't want to hear the tech details.Brass Tacks; We've submitted the movie to 4 festivals so far and we're just about to start our massive submission process. We anticipate sending out movies to all that donated at the proper level in the next few weeks and you'll be glad to know that you name is now in the credits of a real Hollywood (via Atlanta) movie, he he.
Thanks again to everyone out there that helped out and we'll post more when theres more to tell.

We made it...and then some.
I can't express how overwhelmed we are at the outpouring of support that we received from friends, family, and a few strangers.
You guys have pushed us way past our goal and we think that we might be able to get EVERYTHING done on our list...color, sound mastering, news footage...the works.
We're going to make a movie thank you and post it up in a few days just so you can all see our beaming faces.
This makes a lot of weddings that we'll be dancing at.

Thank you so much for your support. We've officially raised the minimum $2,500 we needed to secure the funds you've pledged so far. Please, continue to recommend this project to your friends, family, and associates. The funds raised so far will take care of some of the work, but not all of it.
This month we're submitting to several festivals including the Sundance Film Festival. We're also looking at NETA as well as PBS as potential distribution outlets. We'll keep you updated as we move ahead.

Post CommentThanks a lot to the people who have responded so kindly in their giving. When our sound engineer saw the site he was so moved that he cut he's quote to us for mastering by half. That's a huge help. We still have a way to go though, so please pass this along to your friends and mayps we'll get there and beyond.
