We've Been Sick, and in Shock!

The amazing thing about being your own tiny publishing company is most of your work is done 'in house.' The down side is, when the office gets a bug, that means the family is actually getting a bug, and we were brought very low by a nasty little bronchitis monster running around the house these past two weeks.

Everyone's on the mend on this end, and I can see you guys managed to pull together enough for us to be giving you a Book of Buildings! SU-WEET! I will get you more details on how all the fifty dollar and up backers can get involved in their own personalized building very soon now so we can get the ball rolling.

There are five days left on this kickstarter. I believe in the impossible. So let me throw out there an impossible promise to you right now.

If we hit $7,500 by the end of this kickstarter, we're going to do something crazy. Really really crazy.

    We're going to buy a 3d Printer

What does this mean to you? Well, it means eventually, we'll be able to turn Jeremy's beautiful 3d designs into real world 3d game pieces far more affordable than if we were to outsource. (Which was something we looked into before the kickstarter and it ended up being cost prohibitive.)

But wait, there's more! If we get this 3d printer, we want to thank you for being part of the kickstarter. Now, we can't guarantee what it is we'll be sending you along, but everyone at the hundred dollar backer level and above will be getting a thank you in 3D! It may be a print out of the logo, or hopefully, a building piece, or maybe a little model of WRENCH to stand on your desk and look triumphant. But basically, as we see what the machine is capable of,  we'll put it to a vote and you'll tell us which of the options we're able to put together you'd like.

This is a big goal in a short time with a lot of 'ifs' involved. I also think its a super cool idea, and if you want in, and get your friends in, we can totally make awesome happen.

So that's it! I'm going to take some more antibiotics and get back to work! You'll hear from me again soon an those personalized buildings.

Please print us a box in the format of a building (from the project, of course) to put the gamebooks and other goods inside.

Kairam, would it help if we numbered the boxes? The Kickstarter will tell me straight up what order you all jumped on board.

Nope. We only intended on doing 10. But the demand was so high, we had to do more.

Seriously! $340 to go. Wait until you hear the plan for the next milestone level. It's, in a word, insane.

The lure of the lunchbox is grand! Man. We were expecting to maybe get like 3-4 lunchbox orders. But nope. We're about to hit 20. That's so cool.

We like it! For our next game, I think I'm going to do a cookbook as a little tie-in. I'm excited.

    $4k Up in Here!

The Future is optimistic! (As is this print run!) We've gotten a lot of great advice, a lot of thoughtful questions, and a lot of support.

So first of all, thank you, again!

Second, the industrious Brian Vo went ahead and put together a Flatpack recipe. Its in character and hilarious and actually manages to make spam seem tasty! That takes talent. Do you cook? We'd love to link to any post-apoc style recipes you could put together! That's right, blog carnival because this is the best and strangest cross over ever and I can't say no!

In a few days I'll have a sample up of the Book of Puzzles, and possibly the Book of Obstacles!

We're less than a thousand away from the Book of Buildings! I think we may actually pull this off!
