It could be your browser. I don't use Explorer and didn't think to test it on that. If you can download Firefox, it works on there. Also Safari. If not. Christine's suggestion might help. Thanks Penni and Christine for checking it out and taking the time to comment. Much appreciated! :) D

Douchka, I had to reinstall RealPlayer, at the same time as installing Quicktime. And with Internet Explorer, it works.

Posted project update #23The Trials of Post Production
Post CommentI apologize for not having the new site up and running.
I had to take on a couple of paying jobs and the rest of my time has been focused on editing the rough cut of the film so Ciaran can start working on the music. We have the festival circuit deadlines looming and cannot afford to miss them!James is on his way over here as I write this to make the final changes for the rough cut tonight...we are so close. I will also be using the rough cut to show several people (some who know the short and feature script, some who only know the feature, some who only know the short and some who know virtually nothing about the project) so I can get what's known as 'fresh eyes' on the film. Also known as feedback on the cut...what works and what doesn't.If any of you think you fit into one of those categories and would like to be considered to view the rough cut, please send me a message and tell me why you think you'd be an asset to this stage of the production. Please think about this before sending a message because seeing a rough cut can really spoil the experience of seeing the film for the first time in its finished form. This is because the rough cut is just that -- ROUGH. It has some missing elements, there is no music, the sound is not mixed, it is not color corrected, the sound effects are missing -- all of these being important things that make a great viewing experience. So, if you want to ruin your viewing experience and think your opinions will be helpful to our next cut send me that message and tell me why. And I apologize in advance if I don't pick you -- please don't take it personally. My decision will be based on if you're right for this particular stage of review.
In the meantime, I will be back on putting the new website together later this this week. Thanks, as always, for your patience.:) Deborah -

Posted project update #20Up Close and Personal
This is my third crack at a new update. I did one last week and before I finished it my browser froze and I lost everything. Then, tonight I did another and accidentally hit a back key and all my text vanished. Sheesh.
Here's what's up:
1) On Wednesday, July 20th at 1pm PST (Los Angeles time) I will be interviewed on a blog radio show called Up Close and Personal. You can listen to it live through the blogradio website HERE, where I believe you can also call in and/or post in the text box. If you can't make it, you will also be able to find it in the On Demand section HERE.
2) I have been working very hard on the dedicated End of the Innocents website, which will have public pages - including the thank you page where backers names will be listed - and a private password protected backers area where I will post everything that's on the Kickstarter updates and well as lots of cool new behind-the-scenes stuff not on here. Plus I will be updating the progress of the film.
Speaking of progress, last Thursday the footage went to a post house where they are transcoding it (something you have to do when you shoot with the awesome Red camera) and syncing the sound to all the clips. I will be picking that up tomorrow morning and meeting with the editor...oops, I haven't introduced you to the editor yet. Our editor (unless he screws up and gets fired) is James Kondelik. I picked him because he had a certain undefinable energy in his reel...I'm thinking he is a bit rogue, meaning he will venture outside the box which may serve the story well, especially the opening pages that I posted here previously. James has edited some features and it didn't hurt that he sent me a text that said, "You are one of the coolest, laid back people I've met." He also laughs at my lame humor.
Here's a picture of editor James:

Deborah thank you for the update, no sooner asked than done. I look forward to the new website and I'll be there tomorrow night (10 pm in France) to listen and may be ask a question about your movie. It's amazing how the Internet makes the world smaller.

Deborah, wondering how End of Innocents is going, and which festivals picked it up? Hope all is well, haven't heard anything from you in several months. Que pasa, girl?
