@Jose Aviles Jr. Using in-game books would be very interesting if done right. I am not sure limiting the gameplay until you find the right books would be such a good idea as this could be frustrating if you already know how to do something but cannot activate it because you need the books first. On the other hand using it as a device in a training/intro mission would allow the player to discover the gameplay progressively. Or this could be used to share some tidbits about game universe for people unfamiliar with the PnP RPG.

@Robert Richardson random mission was the only kind of missions given by Mr Johnson in the Sega Shadowrun. As RC posted a few minutes ago Jordan Weisman clearly indicated that one of the main point of Shadowrun Returns is get great stories. Hence why the level editor seems to be described as mainly a shadowrun editor for the moment. I hope we will be able to do more than just write a mission/quest, designing some buildings and importing some graphics would be very good but I disgress. Getting some kind of random mission generator to complement the missions created using the editor would be nice, as this would enable any player to do some leveling in case he cannot progress in the story because the ennemies are too difficult to beat for him.

I would prefer if the second city is radically different from Seattle (somewhere in Asia or Africa would be nice) as this would possibly enrich the gameplay but the most important criteria is that this new setting must be accessible whichever race you are playing. An alternative would be to treat the adventures in both cities as two independant games, with no possibility to transfer between each city. Unless they try to create an interconnected storyline involving the characters in their own city. A little bit like what was done in Breath of Fire 3 or Final Fantasy 9.
