    WE MADE IT!! :)

APOLOGIES FOR THE LATE CELEBRATORY UPDATE:

There are so many things running through my head right now.

There are always so many reasons for people to give up, or for people to become negative.  Making films is a journey.  It lasts years sometimes, and a family is born each time with the people who jumped onboard and made sure it was brought to life.

The story of how this film came to be sometimes seems to overshadow the actual film's story.  I am okay with this, because it has been just as difficult and arduous for me to breathe life into this film as it has been for the protagonist to survive a Demon Apocalypse.  And in many ways I feel like the film is a direct reflection of my life at that time and how I overcame impossible circumstance... with a little help from my friends :)

Unfortunately, my internet is currently unable to handle video uploads.  I will be reaching out to you guys with a face and some video this weekend at the latest!  But for now this will have to do:

Thank you for believing in me and in the project.  I can only hope that it inspires some of you to jump into your own and kickstart your own dreams.

Moments like this remind me that I am incapable of empathizing with defeat.  If you reach out into the Universe, it will present you with the gifts that you already have within.

I leave you with five of my favorite behind-the-scenes pictures from the set of Fear Eats The Seoul  shot during the second half of 2010.

And now we spread the fear  :)

    Curtain Close

We're 9 hours away from closing our kickstarter and we have just raised over $1,000 dollars more than what we initially requested!  This is astounding.

We have also finally been given an official IMDB page for our film:

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2235513/combined

The extra funding we have received will be used to open an IMDBPro account, giving us control over our page i.e. adding images, posters, etc.

We will also continue to look into submitting to even more festivals.  Please send us any local festivals that we may skip over as well!

Please look out for a video update after Curtain Close :)

    Happy Rare Leap Year Day!

    Happy Valentine's Day! <3

It is with great pleasure that I announce the 100 % Funding of our Goal, 15 days before our deadline!!!!

It is truly an amazing feeling.  We have worked so hard to get the film finished and to have so many people, both old and news friends, come together and back the project with so many hard earned dollars, is nothing short of a miracle.

    I am extremely humbled.

Having said all, there are still 15 days left until the project closes, and any number of things could happen before then to hinder reaching our goal, i.e. if anyone should need to withdraw for any reason.  Therefore I encourage everyone to reach out to a single friend and ask them to consider backing as well.  In any amount.

Our funding goal of 2,000 USD has been a starting point to moving into festivals.  Recently, we have spent nearly a thousand already to submit to 30 festivals.  Your donations will recoup this cost plus the cost for the next 15-20 festivals.  With more donations, we can submit to more festivals.  So every little extra bit counts.

And on that note, I would like to thank you all so much again.  THANK YOU!

Happy Valentine's Day.  This is better than chocolate, I assure you.

I leave with you now, a gift.  A piece of Score from the film.  It is a piece of music towards the end of the film, and it belongs to my favorite single moment in the film.  It is pure magic and I understood in that moment what the power of collaboration can accomplish.

We are also a collaboration, so enjoy.

Fear Eats the Seoul Receives 'A' Grade On MJ Simpsons Cult Film Reviews!

“An impressive, original, sincere and mesmerising horror film.”

    -MJ Simpson

We recently received our latest review courtesy of MJ Simpson, a cult film journalist of the UK!  It is our first A Grade!   This is great news that people who have watched the film are definitely connecting with the film and responding positively.  This illustrates, even further, the importance of us getting the film out into the festival circuit where it can build an audience!

We have 19 more days to go and 33 percent left to fund!  Please tell your friends about the project and how they can donate, keep spreading the word, and we have no doubt we will reach our funding goal.  We have already gone ahead and begun the submission process to several festivals and the list keeps growing!

As always, thank you truly for the support and love.  This is all for you.  The audience.
