Hello fellow Botanist Minimal backers, hope all is going well for you.I'm reaching out to let you know about some very exciting news!My Float Desk Concept, thats inspired by the Botanist Bench, was selected from 580 submissions for potential global production by DWR.
Design With In Reach is a global taste maker when it comes to design and landing within their pages is a real career boost for any designer.
My design is now in the public voting stages until the May 21st.There are 10 other finalists.
Please help me get Float Wall Desk into production by voting YES and SPREAD THE WORD!!

As you may be aware our 2nd project SOLID & CATCH was not successfully funded so we went back and re-tooled. This is the beauty of a platform like Kickstarter. It allows us to make adjustments that consider feedback from real customers.
The main concern from most backers was the high price for this type of product. With that advice we've gone back to our fabrication partner and negotiated better rates. So please, log back in and Re-plege for Solid & Catch and take advantage of the price reduction and FREE Shipping!
Also, we ask that you take a moment and share your enthusiasm for our project with your social networks. The more we spread the word the more likely we can bring these two unique products to market. We created a comedic video to help it go viral and all of you are the first step in that process.

What issue are you having ? Did you not receive your bench ? or are you interested in our new Solid and Catch project ?

Dear Backers,
All of you should have received your bench by now, if not please drop me a note at; orders@orange22.com so I can personally follow up.
We wanter to update you on two fronts, firstly we'd love some quotes on your new bench and if you are in super love with Minimal please send us a photo of it in your space. We'd like to create a newsletter that goes out to all our fans featuring Botanist Minimal within their intended environments. We'd very much appreciate it.

This is definitely the best of the final 10 designs. I hope to see it at my local DWR soon. It also would be cool to have a metal version with some hooks and/or drawers underneath to use as a work surface in the garden or in the garage. (But maybe that would be too heavy to mount on a wall?) I also have a strange urge to attach the float desk to some rails to allow it to slide up and down so that I can use it sitting or standing (or maybe lower it really low so that I can sit back on the couch and watch TV or play games on that big monitor that's sitting on it).
