commented on a projectAdam, Yes, you could have ordered stuff from TopatoCo, and gotten them a few weeks earlier. But you also would have paid more for them and also not gotten the free pack ins like the stickers, bookmarks, and badge buttons. Not to mention if people didn't order them through Kickstarter in the first place they would be no books to buy at all....

This is great news! I have to ask though, I ordered Diesel volumes 1 and 2, and I was wondering if there was any estimate on getting those? Not to push you at all, I understand what you're schedules like and all that, I was just curious. You aren't going to ship either till 2 is done, yes?

I have a question. Since the books are printed, is there any news about the downloadable PDF version of Diesel Volume 2? I've got volume 1 but haven't seen any news yet about Diesel Volume 2.
Also, you mentioned at the beginning about if the donations make more than $10,000 or $15,000, that there would be enough to make stickers and buttons. Will there still be stickers and buttons? Or did the finance of printing the books and t-shirts cost more than expected? I’m not mad or anything just curious about what happen to the buttons and stickers idea.

After what seem like, just an endless wait my proofs finally arrived today! I sent off the okay today and the printer said they should have them to me in a few weeks.
Even though the suspense was... excruciating, the books look fantastic. They have a nice gloss heavy stock to the pages and are actually almost twice as heavy as the previous run. So at the very least you'll be getting some very pretty books.

hey there, It's really a shame those printers gave you a shitty quote and I'd hate for you to lose out on more...
but I just thought you'd like to know there's possibly a third option...
I love your work enough to pay a bit extra for postage again once Diesel 2 comes out and I'm sure others might feel the same way.
