Nick Bodor

New York, NY

After creating alt.coffee cafe in 1995 and The Library bar on Avenue A in NYC, I teamed up with my brother Andy Bodor and Greg Curley to develop our defining venue Cake Shop on Ludlow street. Now we've got a sister bar in Williamsburg Brooklyn called Bruar Falls. And Greg has The Double Windsor in Brooklyn.

we are slashing the pledges and only 7 days left!

    Friends of Cake Shop,
thanks again to everyone, we have slashed our pledge amounts and it might be confusing for those of you that have pledged already. We will honor all early pledges and "round up" so to speak. It really only effects pledges of 100, 150 and 250 so far. I'm pretty sure you can change your pledge at anytime, so take a look and see what you want to do (but as i said, we will honor all existing pledges).

Anything you can do to spread the word during this crunch time would be appreciated and please email me w any questions or confusing issues.

    you are the best,
    nick, andy & greg

    thanks to everyone so far!

I just wanted to thank everyone for their support to date. I know a couple of you, but most backers are just amazing people who maybe know andy or greg, or maybe just like what we do at Cake Shop. We felt we would try to just let this Kickstarter project germinate and build a life of its own; but i have to admit, i think it is time to really start trying to push it into peoples field of view. I'm thinking of restructuring the rewards (but any existing backers would only benefit if i do...thanks again). I'd love input from anyone who happens to see this on what would improve the benefits. And anything you can do to spread the word would be very appreciated.
