Yes, we have 33 minutes left and we're at $1356 ... which I hope was a good year for something. :O)
If you know any Lottery winners, or multi-millionaires, now would be the time to send them along. If not -- then once again I say THANK YOU for YOUR support! This is not end of BLACKJACK RETURNS. It will continue online, and I will continue to devise a plan to get the anthology (BURIED SECRETS) completed and published as soon as superhumanly possible.
There are some great stories to be told, and some magnificent artwork to be seen. So, cross fingers and keep an eye on the BLACKJACK ADVENTURES web site, and Facebook page for updates and some brilliant strategy. And if you have some brilliant ideas ... send them along.

This is the first Blackjack comic strip, which tells a story that happened immediately after the comic book tale, SECOND BITE OF THE COBRA. It one example of the kind of effort and quality we put into telling a tale about people, not simply sterotypes. Be here for Episode 2 tomorrow.

We're fifteen days into this exploit and I want to thank everyone who has offered up their support. It has always been a challenge to make my Blackjack series a reality, even the first time. But that's a story I share over a different camp fire fairly soon. Meanwhile, we have 30 days to reach our goal so I thought I'd start to add a little peek at things to come, pledge rewards, etc. So, heres the first one ... the opening scene from the first Blackjack radio show,BLACKJACK: RETRIBUTION. It was recorded in front of a live audience at the NYC Museum of TV & Radio. Enjoy, tell your friends, and pledge, pledge, pledge!

Posted project update #1THE ADVENTURE BEGINS
Post CommentWell we're four days into the campaign. We've trekked into the unknown seeking fame and fortune! Many thanks to those of you who have joined the caravan with picks and shovels, and treasure maps in hand.
But we've a ways to go and could use even more keen eyes, steady hands, and hefty purses (to buy supplies of course) to join us. So spread the word! Alert, invite, or shanghai your friends and family member to pledge what they can.
(Yes, I like metaphors.)
But I truly do remain amazed by the devotion of fans for this series, and I am committed to bringing this character and his stories back to the arena.
So, for now ... it's faces to the north, quick march and see you soon!

I writing this note just to "hang up" a public sign declaring that our trip to Senegal Africa was a major success! I've already posted a few video clips and news items regarding some of our best moments -- but hey, why not more?
So view the single video below, It was taken the day I arrived -- which by the way was at 6:30 AM. By 8:30 AM we were at the American Cultural Museum with a class of 30 kids due any minute, and no time to frame the art.. By the morning of day 2, we had half framing completed, and by day 3 the job was done (see sample pictures below).
