I was reminded to check up on this project because of a topic on Slashdot (http://goo.gl/6i9V0) this morning. It made me wonder: Has THIS project failed? I sincerely hope not - the most recently posted bits on Facebook (on 04/08/2012) look great. I, like all fellow backers, continue to hope that everyone will get their promised rewards. But... it has been nearly nine months since my previous comment. Seven days from today (04/18/2012), TWO YEARS will have passed since the Successful Funding date for a project that was originally scheduled to be completed in about 8 months (October 2011). Using facebook.com/pesipop/photos as a guide, there have been 498 completed bits out of 1024 (~49% complete). I do not think it is unreasonable for your backers to ask that you involve us a bit more with posts here or on Facebook that would help keep us all from feeling so doubtful about this project's completion. Keep plugging away, Pesi...

Greg, I thank you so much for making this change! It will be awesome for my son to see and spell his name in the book. He already (almost 3) knows and is very particular that his name is spelled with two L's, two T's. LOL. Thanks again, and we so look forward to seeing the final product. Best of luck in getting it complete, and I hope you are able to retain your sanity while dealing with the inevitable bumps and bruises that come with a project like this!

Aww... man! I must have misspelled my son's name! It should have been "Elliott Allen Lane" (two L's, two T's). Dang the wifey for her family name with all the extra consonants! LOL...

Hi Pesi, I think that all of your backers have exhibited an extreme amount of patience and tolerance for the creative process you needed for your work, especially those who have not received their rewards nearly eight months after your original target date of October 2011. I have on several occasions thought about posting a comment asking for an update and stopped myself, trying to be as understanding as possible - I definitely know how initial project deadlines and estimations can go! I guess my point is this - the backers who have not received their rewards would at least like some more information than one or two obscure updates every three months or so. So... how about an update? :)

Congrats on the funding of the project. I pledged $40, so here are my four bits (in order of importance just in case you don't have 4 spots left): 1) little monster man 2) leaky little boat 3) my heart is dancing 4) [i am a] breathing time machine thanks, and good luck with the contest!
