Hi there, puzzlefest people! Hope this finds you all well - I am thrilled to report that the puzzles are almost ready. They are in the final stages of editing and will be released in a few days. I want to test out the technology I'll be using to post them and make sure everything looks just perfect.

Thank you for your patience. I'm excited to share my latest word-babies with you all!

    Best,
    Patrick Blindauer

    Movin' Right Along

    Hi, everybody!

I thought I'd give you all a little update: I've been happily churning out puzzles and only have two more to make before the first draft of the Puzzlefest will be ready for my test-solvers. I'm very excited by the way things are coming together, and I can't wait to share my latest creations with you all. Woo-hoo!

I also wanted to remind you to spread the word to other potential puzzlers; they only have 5 more days to get in on the action. After Sunday, people can still buy the puzzles, but they won't be eligible for the contest.

Continued thanks for all the support I've gotten on this project.

    Best,
    Patrick

    Bang zoom!

Wowie zowie! You guys rock! Thank you *so* much for your generous pledges, which have allowed me to reach my goal for the Puzzlefest. It is on. Very ... much ... on. People can, of course, continue to make pledges until November 1, but knowing the project is funded gives me more time to work on the puzzles, which I appreciate, and I already have two top-notch test-solvers ready to do their stuff. I was shooting for a December 1st release date for the Puzzlefest, but now I'm thinking the puzzles will be ready by the week of Thanksgiving.

Thanks to my friends and family for helping with this. Thanks to my sweetheart's friends and family for their support, too. Thanks to Jim Horne, Orange, Rex Parker, and Ryan & Brian for spreading the word via their crossword blogs. If you heard about this some other way, please send me a message and let me know how.

Oh, and if there are still some people you want to invite along on the Puzzlefest, by all means extend the invitation. The more the merrier!

    Best,
    Patrick

I found out through Matt Gaffney's Weekly Crossword Contest (http://www.crosswordcontest.blogspot.com/) Matt is responsible for at least my contribution, so be sure to thank him as well! --Brian B.
