    Just a random idea, but why not Humans wearing animal masks? Otherwise my opinion echoes the others, animals eating human food is somewhat disturbing. I think a human wearing a cow/pig/dog/owl mask or even costume (with zipper?) would add some fun and give the whole book a sort of 'we are putting on a show for you' quality... just my thoughts and looking forward to it :D!
