commented on a projectIn response to the recent disaster and catastrophic events occurring in Japan, my brother and I in these few days have managed to gather US$2,692.00 to be donated to Japan on behalf of UN Design Ltd. This amount is from our own pockets and will not be deducted from and of the pledged funds. We hope you will join in the effort to help our friends in Japan and help them through this crisis.

Please accept our apologies and we appreciate your patience while we try our best to reply to your questions and comments promptly. In the meantime, behind the scenes of this project we are working on a multitude of things; design/engineering developments, coordinating with manufactures, filing patents, promoting our project online, in addition we are also continually immersed in our day time architecture and industrial design projects.

We do have several concepts in the works right now for accessories which can be used to interchange and compliment the parts developed in UN01. These concepts will be in our next round of developments. We will keep you posted.

commented on a projectHi Backers, There have been a number of enquiries regarding "How they can update their pledge amounts to include the forgotten shipping cost?" All you have to do is go to your "Manage My Pledge" section and put in the new TOTAL including the shipping cost for each level. For example: Pledge $30 + shipping $5 = $35 (new TOTAL) No backers are charged until the projects end date so your initial pledge amount has not been charged to your account yet. THX

commented on a projectThank you James for your reminder regarding the aluminum concept. We are aware of this and will separate the phone from the aluminum case in the development version by the means of a non conducting material, this will prevent any contact between the phone and the case.

Posted project update #1Flash opening updates
There have been many discussions around the blogs regarding the UN01, we thank everyone for taking interest and giving us valuable feedback. There was one comment which prompted us a redesign was needed. The current flash opening was too small and a ghosting effect would be a result. We have taken the necessary steps to rectify this and will be corrected in the production version.
