    We have reached our goal!

Thanks to each of your donations, Conflict Kitchen has successfully reached its goal of $4,000!

These funds will allow us to launch our Afghan iteration of Conflict Kitchen. There are still 4 more days to go, and we are hoping to reach a new goal of $5,000 by September 30, when the pledge drive will end.

Keep spreading the word to your friends and family. If you live in Pittsburgh, don't forget to drop by for a kubideh sandwich before we close Kubideh Kitchen! Soon, we will change to Bolani Pazi and will serve four different tasty bolani, a sort of savory Afghan turnover. Stay updated by visiting our blog at: www.ConflictKitchen.org.

Again, thank you for all your generosity,
    Conflict Kitchen

this is a great project - has such potential to open people's minds through their stomachs!!! thank you so much and i'm happy to be a small part of backing you all. i only wish it were in a city close to me (i live in the san francisco bay area). maybe you'll expand someday - anyway, i am a vegan and was very pleased to see that you mention the vegan bolani as part of the menu. right on!!!!!!
