    A change of plans

Thanks so much for being interested in my work.
A large part of my work is being able to work with a group be it audience or suggestions or just the dialog around a particular medium or technique. Having all of you support me and talk to me about my work is so important. This has been a great experiment in social media and grassroots fundraising.

Unfortunately, I have to cancel the show. Due to a problem with the venue, I will be unable to present the show as planned. I was very excited for this opportunity and I am disappointed in this turn of events.

My work, including large scale pieces for this show, will be shown in a number of upcoming exhibitions, including a solo show this September in Seattle. Visit my website for the wheres and whens.

Again I really want to say that I appreciate your backing and support for me and my work. If any of you want a postcard thanks, send me your address.

    Hearts,
    LUKE

Check out the first piece for the show:

This one is called "[The American Context] American Gothic"
    [The-American-Context-#1]-American-Gothic
Its a new take on the famous artist depiction of life in America.
I am re contextualizing this in more modern terms with a guitar and young people, though the medium of Quilt has ties to the era of the painting.
