Posted project update #9We had a good run
We fought the good fight and gave it the old college try, but did not make it to the goal. My sequencer work will go on.
I would like to thank each of you for your support.
This has been a good experience, and I encourage anyone who has an idea that needs funding to try out Kickstarter. Big thanks to the Kickstarter team.
Let's go out on a high note.

Posted project update #7Lightshow Experiment
Post CommentTrying experiments with the additional synchronized lightbox circuit on the sequencer for a light show.
Hopefully this is not epilepsy inducing for anyone. There is a sort of strobe effect from the back light of the main lightbox, and then normal xmas lights were strung up crossing one another. Further arrangements and expansions can be made too. -

Posted project update #63 Days to go and we have the support of the Furbys!
Post CommentThere are 3 days left to go, and after exhaustive talks with the Furbys in my home they have agreed to pledge their full support, though it is just emotional support. Then they posed for a photo, and we made this video.

Posted project update #5Countdown to Friday 11/19 - 4 days to go
Post CommentThis Friday 11/19 is the deadline for this project. I am still spreading the word about the project and the Flash version of the sequencer setup for people to try.
Here is a short screen capture demo of the Flash version in action.
Give it a try and experiment with it, won't you. -

Posted project update #4A Flash version of sequencer setup.
Post CommentHello everybody! I have not stopped working on the project, but I am about a week late with this.
I have been working on a Flash version of my sequencer setup to let others see what is going on with selecting and grouping sounds, manipulating pitch of the sounds, using the mixer to control sound levels and blending, and controlling looped pattern durations. Please try it out and see what you think. It is a bit more rough than the actual sequencer setup, but it does a good job of showing how the various parameters you chose change the sounds and rhythms it produces.

Posted project update #3Working hard!
Post CommentI have been working hard to continue spreading word of this project, and working on a couple of surprises. Hoping to get those out soon. There are is now just under 3 weeks left, but I think that is plenty of time.
Special for Halloween here is a Spooky Drone track from the current sequencer. -

Posted project update #2More than just music
To highlight what got a brief mention on the front page of the project I finished rebuilding a special light circuit which can connect to my sequencer to make a lightshow that is synced to the sounds of the toys. This light circuit consists of a lighted base unit with outlets to add more lights. Each channel in this light circuit can handle up to five 40 watt bulbs, twenty lights in total.
Unique lightshow to go with a one of a kind audio experience.*Be warned may attract cats, as you will see in the video.

Marshall, really sad to see this project not meet the goal. I've loved your updates, songs, and videos. This song is no exception... love it. Best of luck with your future work.
Brett thank you. Future progress, videos, and tracks will be found on my site sailormouth.org.
Sorry to see that this didn't fill. I look forward to seeing/hearing your future work.
