    Updates Updates Updates!

Good afternoon anyone, and THANK GOODNESS IT'S THURSDAY!

The lights are going up in down town Seattle, and I'm started to get excited about the holiday season.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get into the studio for Christmas songs this year, as was my earlier intention but
thank you all for your suggestions on facebook! I will have to start earlier next year and give myself plenty of time.
I have a special surprise coming up to make it up to you though, so keep checking the Video and Music section to make sure you don't miss it.
Also coming, T-shirts! Designed and printed by the talented Mish Kotec of Olympia. You can find some of her other work in her Etsy shop.
I should have them by mid-January!

What I HAVE been doing is writing new music, joining TAXI (an online A&R company), and developing a branding technique to use with solo-musicians and bands.
The new stuff is for an as yet un-named EP but I will keep you posted on it's development. Also, coming soon: VIDEO BLOGS!
I have the web cam now, just need to figure out how to add sound. The video blogs will be a big part of the Leaping Project: an account of my quest to get to L.A. for
the I Create Music Expo in April in search of the women a psychic told me will help get my music out there. My progress so far: I joined ASCAP which makes my expo ticket much much less expensive. You can follow my progress on my blog as well as my musings on the meaning of work.
Also on the blog for the next nine weeks there will be blog posts detailing my progress through Ariel Hayatt's Music Success in Nine Weeks book as part of her Cyber PR contest. Don't worry, though, it won't be boring and it will provide an excellent insight into the business practices I'm adopting and why.

And Finally, I have just added a new show to my calendar. January 13th at the Fun House in Seattle, I will be playing three songs as part of the Resolution Show. The Resolution show will also be featuring Bellydancing, Burlesque, and Fire dancing and I am super stoked to get to participate.

    Love and Luck,

    Abi Grace

Chad, I just gave away my last invite, I'm sorry! I'll talk to some of the people I invited, though, and see if they can help you out! CommunistPrime: I'm so glad you liked the sound of the music!!! I will certainly share gigs, and if you are intersted you can sign up for my mailing list!

speaking about friends (mine, by the way, seem to hold on tight to their silver and gold... no familiar names on the list... will have to put the screws on them...) , that reminds me of a poem by Dylan Thomas, or a part of it, that goes loke this:

"Though I loved them for their virtues as much as for their faults,
my friends proved to be enemies on stilts, with their heads in cunning clouds."

Yes, I am a bit cynical today, dear Abi, but I am sure you will make it.

        Take care

        Jens
