Post CommentWith $1800 donated so far and 29 backers to date, this project has really taken on a life of its own. It is so gratifying to know that so many people care and are willing to be a part of something like this from the very beginning! Everyone should feel like they are a part of the realization of this film, and be proud to be a part of it. Pre-production is rolling along famously, and there are a lot of new and interesting things popping up all the time. For instance, we will be a part of a cool event in El Paso on August 27 where we will be able to spread the word about the film even more, and let more people join the team! You all are constantly on my mind and I am really trying to find the words to express how awesome this entire experience has been. It is not over yet though! This is the homestretch. I am confident we will realize our goal and set production in motion as soon as we do. Post CommentFirst and foremost, thanks to everyone who has pledged a donation to the film! We hit the $1000 mark in amazing time, and now it is up to us to keep the momentum going. Update on the pre-production of the film: we printed our buttons that will be sent out to all donors, and they look sweet. Pics of them will come shortly. Also, printing up some awesome looking mini-posters providing info about the film that we plan on papering the city with. Gotta get the word out! Gonna start up the film's official blog soon as well, which will provide behind the scenes access to the process we will continue to work on as the month progresses. Lots of hard work and exciting stuff coming up. Stay tuned, and remember to share this info with your friends.
