We couldn't let Black History Month pass (in all its glory) without sending an email update for First Baptist!
We've received a donation from designer Nerea Gibson of Aeren Waters!! Nerea contacted us and wanted to send us some love, and we are so grateful for these amazing purses and clutches! Below are a few snapshots. We're looking forward to featuring her fashions in the film. Aeren Waters on Facebook

shoot update: We'd planned the shoot for the week of April 16th, but then Nedra had to go and pick up a show that opens that week. So please stay tuned for the next shoot date!

Dearest friends, family and supporters,Post CommentI hope this message finds you all very well and filled with love.
A few days ago, thanks to you, we met our Kickstarter goal and I was soooo overwhelmingly happy and grateful and humbled.
A couple of days later, I lost a dear, dear friend, whom many of you know and love.Though I am not ready to say goodbye, and never will be, I look forward to dedicating this project to my dear Kibibi Dillon, whom I affectionately called "Blizzle" :)
I'm still in shock, but am comforted to know a huge part of her is still here.
