When I recorded the Mata Atlântica CD, the piano score was still in draft form. It took me over a year to prepare it for publishing. It's finally all done in the form of a beautiful folio. Dear friends,
The Mata Atlântica (Atlantic Forest) Piano Suite project is finally finished!!! The CDs are ready to be shipped. I'm attaching here the beautiful cover designed in Brazil by my brother Carlos Simas. It depicts various current and old scenes of the Atlantic Forest. Carlos's organization Reserva Nativa is dedicated to the conservation of untouched remaining portions of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest. Check out their site at www.reservanativa.blogspot.com

I recorded Movement II of the Suite a couple of days ago! All those who contributed to my project can download or stream both Movements I and II from the link below:

Please not to share this link with anyone. The complete piece will be eventually available for everyone on iTunes, CDBaby, etc.
I'm planning to record Movement III towards the end of November or beginning of December. I really don't want to rush into the studio, because this last movement will require a great deal of piano practice on my part. I'd rather wait a little if I have to, and be really very well prepared when I record it.
I hope you enjoy the recordings!
