It took a day to catch our breath..but the TROLLY made it to Bakersfield!!
Phew!! That was close, Gerard almost sold my wig to make the deadline!!
Thank You to each one of our 38 backers who drove us into the next phase of this year's
artistic, promotional, and fiscal goals.. Now, (and i'm talkin' starting TODay!) we begin design of the album cover, layout, meet with our demigods of mixing and mastering, pay those demigods, brainstorm some creative packaging for your rewardsshipments, start writing your songs, start sweatin' in your tee-shirts and just plain thinking fondly about all of you..And we get to keep you updated on our Dolly Progress..in which there is always much fun and folly to report...

Our wagon is rollin' in to Central Utah, The city Of Fillmore (named after our 13th president)!! This finds us $2279 miles/trolly dollars away from HOME and about $520 miles/dollars to go til our destination.. BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA!
Its been a fantastic trip and so amazing to have YOU, our Sugar-Mama Dolly-Lamas, along for the ride!!
Folly report:
Well, after the Wal-Mart debacle in Sterling, we decided to stick to DIRT roads cuz the chances of a box store hitting your trolly will be pretty nil, we think:)
We lost Gerard for a couple hours at a pre-christmas bizarre in Spanky, Co on Monday..It was quite a scare since we had a show that nite at "Mugz and Myrtles" and the show positively cannot go on without LOLLY!
Tami got lots of winks and nods from folks when she wore her "I Cant... Im a Mormon" tee-shirt.
T.L. and Sammy got some Dolly Jollies at the "450th Annual Fillmore Four-Wheeler Festival!" Its like a RODEO for ATVs, and i have to say, quite a muddy affair-leaving the two of them irrecognizably covered in sand and dirt. And since our Tour-Trolly is No R.V., they had to wash-up in the Arby's bathroom on Rt. 17...
Tonite we're gonna see what "Friday night in Fillmore" is all about...See you in Bakersfield!!

The mood is: Jolly as DT rolls out of Kansas and right into the Walmart in Sterling, Colorado!
You have propelled our Trolly with such fervor and enthusiasum that we crashed right thru the double-doors and into the "House of Pampers" display!! No one was hurt but we are getting written up in the Sterling Gazzette:)Thanks to all 32 of our Sugar-Mama Dolly-Lammas, this wagon's moved $1,645 miles!
And with just 6 days left to go its down to the wire!Bless all your Hearts,

Post CommentGoodness Gracious!! The Trolly is now Barreling into the Home of: Pentecostalism, The Oregon Trail, Dorothy & Toto, and the home of Rev. James Sheldon- author of the famous question, "What would Jesus Do?"
Where on earth are we now?
None less than TOPEKA, KANSAS!! That's right, $1,255/miles into our odyssey accross America and into your CD player!! And it's all because YOU said to yourself.. "What would a Dolly Do?" And instead of waiting for a response from the heavens above, you decided to Give the Trolly a Push!!
Dolly Folly Report:
Gerard and T.L are recovering from an encounter with some Moonshine obtained in exchange for doing acapella Smiths covers on the main street in downtown Topeka! Tami is doing a week-long internship at the Meteorological Bureau to learn about tornadoes:) And Sam's been volunteering at the bowling alley...(He's tryin to snag us some shoes:)Much renewed praise and pokes to all of our beautiful Sugar Mama-Dolly Lammas! The Dolly Posse is a' Growin!!

How are we enjoying the "Pitstop" of America?? T.L .is ransacking all the thrift stores, Gerard and Tami have befriended some sweet old ladies who are teaching us how to knit and make some killer ambrosia!! Sammy got to ride on the back of a trash truck for the first time..and T.L. was mad jealous!!!Much LOVE to the Sugar-Mama Dolly-Lammas-all 13 of You!

What? Who? Huh? You say... Well, It's 2,799 miles to Wible Orchard in Bakersfield, CA...which is exactly the amount of Trolly Dollars we need to make this project FLY! And YOU-, the backers, or as we affectionately call you, "The Sugar Mama Dolly Lammas"..have driven this trolly $625/miles into the plush backstreets of lovely Dayton, OH!!! You guys are so awesome and we appreciate you all sooo much..xxxooo
