I served in USMC from 1969-72 and my brother is a Navy surgeon with the 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade @ Camp Leatherneck, Helmand Province, Afghanistan since April 2009. He's proud of 2 MEB and the sacrifices they've made to bring security and hopes for a better life to the local Afghans. He says that any doubts one may have about the current state of our country's19-20 year olds are immediately dispelled when you see these Marines in action. The honor, pride and traditions of the Marine Corps are as strong as ever. They could be working part-time at Starbucks but, instead, chose to challenge themselves to become U.S. Marines. I'm very pleased to contribute to this project. Michael McCartney
