Posted project update #4Final cover and good news!
I got a quote from a different printer and I'll be able to increase my edition size to 2,000 and include 4 color pages all within budget! I am also buying an ISBN number and adding that to the back page.
I'm doing some re-arranging and coloring of pages this week.I know I promised some new pages, but I'm working at having everything ready all at once. Believe me, once I have a final version you'll be the first to know!
Thanks to everyone once again! Best, Dave O.
P.S. Here is the final cover...

Not to be a cheapskate, but do we still get the color version for a dollar?

Posted project update #2Wow!
Post CommentWow! I made my goal in 5 days! Knowing that I have at least this amount to put towards printing costs is a great relief. Thanks to all of my backers!
I'm still tweaking the final product and made the decision today to add 4 more pages just to add some clarity in a few spots and to make sure that I have enough room for a proper source list. I'll work like a dog in the next few days to have a final version soon!
Thank you again! -Dave
P.S. If you're thinking that you've missed out on the chance to help: You haven't! I'll continue to raise funds until June 20 and there will definitely be enough rewards to go around. Every little bit helps! Please continue pledging and linking to my project!

Posted project update #1Updated cover soon
I'm tweaking the cover a bit to make it more graphically interesting. I'm adding an ivy pattern in the background with some greys added in for depth and I'm re-drawing Pancho Villa after my grandma saw the cover and said he was uglier in real life. Now that's feedback!
I'm also working on edits in a few spots within the comic to make things read clearer and will post those as I finish them.
Thanks to all of my backers! You all are amazing! As of today I am 71% to my goal... and the project hasn't even been up a week!
At this rate, my project will get funded but only if this momentum keeps up. Anyway that you get the word out is appreciated!
More soon, Dave

Posted project update #15 Days and Counting!
Post CommentHi all,
First and foremost, thanks for all the generous donations so far from each of my backers. You all seriously rock!
Secondly, this is it! The last 5 days of the campaign!
Though only 27% of the way there, I'm still optimistic about making my goal. Please, if you know anyone who might be interested in Tees from the Future (TFTF) send them to this page today! Their donation will help out 3 small business: TFTF, the guys that will print new TFTF tees, and the guys and gals who will re-vamp the TFTF website. That's a 3-for-1 donation!
Again, huge thanks! See you in the future!

I really look forward to having your comic here. Love the colour cover.
Thank you Dave! I can't wait to see it. I've been tracing my mexican history this year and am having fun hearing the stories.
Thank you Dave for this comic and all the hard work you put into it. Congratulations on the success of the project and good luck on your gallery exhibit!
