You're quite right, Peg. We were seriously lacking in the update department. We're also focusing on more conventions and fan sites for next time. People like you have been giving us some fine pointers and we really appreciate that. BTW, do you mind if we use "Son of Suits" when we launch again? ;-) Cheers, Frank - Wyrd

Hey Jordan - We'll be making it to Japan one way or another. Obviously having a budget with which to do that would be nice. Especially since we would like to gather as much footage from Tokyo as we can. It's not just the actors we want to see. It's the overwhelming love the Japanese have for suit actors and kaiju in general. We think that's important to feature in a documentary like SUITS. When we do the next campaign, we'll be a bit more focused and aggressive in getting the word out. I, like you, really thought we'd hit our goal. I still do. We've been getting some great suggestions from people who have done this before and plan to take their advice. So look for SUITS to return soon.

Suggestions for next time - the projects I've sponsored that have made goal typically posted weekly or at least twice monthly updates. When you tell people what is going on, it keeps interest up and encourages donations.

Also, pitch this at major science fiction conventions - it's a natural subject for them and fandom tends to be generous.

Best of success with Son of Suits, Peg

    BRIAN STEELE (Hellboy 2, Predators)

Today we added an integral interview to our MEN IN SUITS roster. Brian Steele... the man who brought newest, meanest Predator to life in this summer's PREDATORS as well as werewolves in the UNDERWORLD films and Mr. Wink in HELLBOY 2.

Brian's nickname is 'Creature Boy' and if you look at his IMDB page you'll see why.

Brian started his career playing Frankenstein's monster on the Universal Studios tour. While there he had the good fortune to meet the late, great Kevin Peter Hall (the suit actor who made Predator the badass hunter from outer-space we all know and love). Kevin was playing Harry from HARRY & THE HENDERSONS at the time and Brian was tapped to play Harry on the Universal tour. Sadly, Kevin passed away soon after and Brian had the honor of taking on the role of Harry in the HARRY & THE HENDERSONS TV series.

This year life came full circle and Brian was finally able to play the Predator in PREDATORS.

Brian walked us through how he physically prepares for each creature he plays. One of his mantras is "make the pain familiar". To find out what that means, watch for MEN IN SUITS in the Fall of 2011!

Thank you, Tracee! It's been a fun project so far. Still much to do including this proposed trip to Tokyo. I can't wait to show everyone more

Thanks, Jordan! We're huge rubber monster fans as well having been raised on ULTRAMAN and Toho films. I think Godzilla was my first monster so making this documentary has been nothing but good times.
